What are we up to now?

Graham and I are off to India with Adventure Ashram a small but mighty charity driven by a spirit of adventure to directly support vital health and education grassroots projects in India. Graham will be riding a Royal Enfield motor bike with 39 other bikers, whilst I will be following in a comfy air conditioned chauffeur driven Toyota. This is all organised by Nomadic Knights who are experts on these sorts of trips so we are in safe hands.  Our route takes us from Kochi to Goa starting on 4th November but we are going out a couple of days early to stay in Fort Kochi.

One of the projects Adventure Ashram support is Odanadi where our son Tom volunteered for a year in 2010, and we are looking forward to visiting Odanadi again on this trip as well as some of the other projects.

As we celebrate 10 years of Adventure Ashram we are shouting about the £1 million already raised which has helped create better lives for people in India through improved education, health and communities. Here's a link to a short video showing some of the wonderful work that has been done thus far. Graham and I are keen to help raise more funds for Adventure Ashram so we can continue the excellent work. If you would like to contribute, this trip has its own fundraising page here .

We will update this blog during our trip, internet access permitting. Hope you'll come back for more soon.
